Back to the Classics!

Interns from City as School work with Teaching Artist Shani Peters to print a new piece from our classic archival textile screens!
Pictured from left: Nadia, Jesse, Shani

Nadia, showing off a freshly inked screen!

The Outcome!
Come back to the blog to see what we do with the prints!

All photos taken by our intern John, who's outfit was too fresh to get inked up!
Just kidding- he printed, coated screens and somehow kept himself spotless.
Thanks John!

New Work by HTW Interns!

Hello all!!
Welcome to the HTW blog-
A fresh new addition to our endeavors!

Check out our interns work in progress designs below.
They are creating self portraits incorporating words and imagery
inspired by their personal interests, ambitions, and style.

They are currently being trained to use Adobe Illustrator.
All designs were created in less than an hour! Hard to believe right?

They're an INCREDIBLY talented group of artists-
More to come!

Almost Jean-Yves

I'm using the name of my label, Jean-Yves by John, to come up from a tea cup as if it was steam.
It represents how I actually came up with my label's name.
